On Catalina Island, with its turquoise waters, you will experience an unforgettable day in paradise, enjoying its beaches, cool breezes, breathtaking views and a selection of food and drinks included in the excursion, always with the immense Caribbean sea as a backdrop.
Catalina is a small island of less than 10 square kilometers off the coast of La Romana, from where it can be seen. The island is formed by coral rocks and surrounded by one of the most diverse ecosystems in the Caribbean Sea. It is classified as a Protected Natural Park and is practically uninhabited, making it a popular place for diving, fishing and snorkeling, admiring its lush seabed full of corals, sea sponges and a multitude of tropical fish.
Despite its size, the island has many beautiful white sandy beaches very protected from the wind, thanks to which, its turquoise and crystalline sea is always absolutely calm and provides the ideal environment for snorkeling, seeing for the first time what you always dreamed of: coral formations, tropical fish of shocking colors, spectacular sea sponges, seahorses, or perhaps the famous lionfish and frogfish.
They say that if you don't close your eyes under the sea, the water stings. However, if you snorkel around Catalina Island, your eyes will itch if you don't open them to discover the most exuberant marine fauna.
And one last detail to keep in mind for diving lovers: Catalina Island has excellent weather conditions almost all year round.
