The Buggy Tour to Macao is one of the most popular excursions in Punta Cana. In this unforgettable half-day adventure, we will drive a buggy through the roads of the Dominican interior. A tour full of fun, adrenaline, mud, and water, offering you the chance to discover a glimpse of the real Dominican Republic.

We will go off-road until we reach the breathtaking Macao Beach, where we’ll pause to enjoy a refreshing dip in its mesmerizing blue waters. Next, we’ll visit a traditional Dominican house to witness the cocoa and coffee production process. Then, we’ll rev up our engines and head to a cenote, where we’ll explore its cavern and swim in its crystal-clear, fresh waters—just like being in a natural pool.

A buggy excursion packed with pure fun!

NOTE: Price starts at $39 per person (Minimum 2 people).

Schedule

FIRST: Our excursion begins when we pick you up from your hotel and head to the Buggy Ranch in Macao.

SECOND: Upon arrival, you will receive safety instructions, a protective helmet, and an explanation to familiarize yourself with the different equipment (Polaris, Four-wheelers, or Buggies). You’ll practice for 10 minutes, and then the adventure begins.

THIRD: Our first stop is at Macao Beach (popular among surfers), where you can swim in its crystal-clear waters and, if you like, rinse off the mud accumulated during the journey through dirt roads and large puddles.

FOURTH: We’ll continue driving on dirt tracks, now surrounded by a semi-jungle, towards our next destination. Along the way, we’ll stop at a typical coffee and cocoa ranch, where you’ll learn about the production process of coffee, cocoa, and cinnamon. Here, you can take photos and taste their products.

FIFTH: Back on the off-road trails, we’ll finally arrive at Los Hoyos de Molina, also known as Cueva Taína (cenote). This is a natural spring, 8 meters deep, with crystal-clear waters where you can take a refreshing swim.

SIXTH: After the swim, we’ll return to the starting point and take you back to your hotel.
